The variety pigments in this section can be used to create different types of paints and pigment pastes. Unlike Mica, which distributes itself reasonably well as soon as you stir it into your binder, these pigment powders are little harder to incorporate because of their particle size.
In order to avoid clumping, it is advised to premix pigment with small amount of base material first to smooth in pigment and smash out any little clumps before adding it to your bigger batch.
Pigment size and weight.
Due to the dense nature of the different materials used in some pigments and micas, your jar will not be filled to the top which is normal. All pigments come in 25 g jars, except the floating metallic pigments which are sold in 50gr pouches
Matte and opaque when dry. [except for the transparent colors, which have the word "transparent" in their name title].
These are also the base colors of Neutral Colored paint/pastes. Mixed with white they individually change into the most beautiful neutral color. e.g Butterscotch turns to ivory, chocolate brown to dusty pink, cafe noir turns to a lavender grey, etc
